The Central Illinois Chapter celebrates each year’s class of New Designees by participating in the Conferment ceremony at All Industry Day each Fall. The CPCU Society also celebrates this achievement at the In2Risk Conference’s Conferment ceremony each year.
What to Expect as a New Designee
The purpose of the New Designee Committee is to make each New Designee feel comfortable, welcome, and encourage participation in the Central Illinois Chapter. Each New Designee receives a Welcome communication from the Chapter Growth Chairperson congratulating them on passing their final exam. New Designees receive monthly communications from the New Designee Committee with invitations and reminders for Central Illinois chapter meetings and upcoming events. The New Designee Committee also hosts events where New Designees can meet each other, committee members, and chapter leadership.
All Industry Day – Conferment Ceremony
All Industry Day (also called “I-Day”) is an important event for New Designees. New Designees are recognized for their achievement by participating in the Conferment ceremony which formally inducts the New Designee into the CPCU Society.
